Balfron High School

Balfron High School is situated the village of Balfron, 10 miles from Stirling. It currently has 967 pupils and is the local school for West Stirlingshire.

The school is currently run by rector Val Corry, who has been at the school for the past 6 years.

The school has recently come under fire from the media after a series of embarrassing incidents for the school. Firstly, a botched prank played by a pupil leaving school resulted in the death of a chicken and the police being becoming involved. Secondly, another young boy was expelled after dressing up in a spiderman costume as a prank, and more recently, a case of young girls taking and supplying ecstasy within the school was discovered when one of the children who took the drug had to be taken to hospital after passing out.
