Badakhshan is part of WikiProject Central Asia, a project to improve all Central Asia-related articles. [edit] EB1911 article; needs update
This is largely a copy of the text in the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica Eleventh Edition (hence the "kafirs" reference); however, it is missing the second page of that article in the first place. Then it should be brought up to date - there are OCR errors and obviously dated information. See here and the Columbia encyclopedia. David Brooks 21:56, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
