[edit] Welcome

Hello, Baby16, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you will enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! You can sign your name on talk and voting pages using four tildes, (~~~~), which produces your username, the time, and the date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 00:35, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please use the sandbox for experimenting

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the Fired Up (song) and Clay Aiken pages on Wikipedia! Your tests worked, and thank you for reverting or removing them yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, thanks, and we hope that you will like Wikipedia. —ERcheck @ 22:56, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit on List of music video directors

Hi, why did you remove Steve Barron from here: [1]? Peter S. 21:47, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

think this is where i post stuff to you. I'm not sure
It's actually on my talk page, here: User talk:Peter S. (just normally click a person's name, then on "discussion" on the top.
I removed that Steve because he's not a music video director.
Actually, the entry says "He made his directorial debut in 1979 and did almost all of his music videos in the 80's, including Billie Jean by Michael Jackson, Burning Up by Madonna, Take on Me by a-ha, and videos for Bryan Adams". So I think he did some music videos, don't you think? I'm adding it back, if you don't mind. Cheers, Peter S. 12:15, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
No probs. Sorry.
You're welcome :-) By the way, you can sign your messages by adding four "~" at the end, so that everybody knows who wrote something in talk pages. Welcome to wikipedia, it's a great place here! :-) Peter S. 20:12, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] It's never too late to say thanks

Baby16, I appreciate your note. It is never too late to say thanks. I'm glad to see that you are still editing on Wikipedia. Thanks for contributing. — ERcheck (talk) 01:59, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Uploading pictures

I know i might seem stupid but i can't understand how to upload pictures. And since i don't have anyone to explain it to me. & i don't know any other Wikipedians I was wondering if you could tell me how to in layman's terms please? And sorry if i'm bothering you or wasting your time. Baby16 23:55, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi! There is a link on the left side called "Upload file" that does the trick. Before you do it, I would suggest reading Wikipedia:Uploading images. And if you have other questions, you can ask me or - faster and better - ask the community here: Wikipedia:Help desk. There is a huge section for everything about wikipedia, called "Community Portal", available through the link on the left side. From there you'll find all those other links I gave you. Hope that helps! :-) Cheers! Peter S. 12:31, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Aly & A.J On The Cover of their new cd Acoustic Hearts of Winter.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Aly & A.J On The Cover of their new cd Acoustic Hearts of Winter.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:05, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Been offline a bit and just got your message. You probably found the picture by following the link above. Here it is again — Image:Aly & A.J On The Cover of their new cd Acoustic Hearts of Winter.JPG. BTW, please follow the instructions above on licensing to make sure that the image does not need to be deleted because of licensing problems. — ERcheck (talk) 02:29, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Justin Timberlake contributions

Hi. There has been some massive vandalism to the Justin Timberlake article, and I had to revert fairly far back. Unfortunately, you made some changes in the meantime; because these vandals engaged in multiple article vandalism, I don't have time to re-add in all the new fixes. If you would like, please feel free to put your changes back in. thanks! --Patstuart 03:35, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Giver

Hi. You need to give some sort of reference about the novel The Giver by Lois Lowry. Otherwise, somebody will possibly remove it one day. See this article Wikipedia:Citing sources. Regards --Bondego 22:16, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
