[edit] Warning vandals

[[Image:Buen artculo.svg|25px|left]] Hello. I'm in agreement with the recent revert you made. You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Best regards, --AW 21:45, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi Andrew, which article are you talking about, out of curiosity? I know about the vandalism warning templates, but I tend not to use them for anonymous edits unless there's evidence that the same IP has vandalised a few articles in a short timespan. To me, it seems kinda pointless to do otherwise, particularly with dynamic IPs used ISPs. Cheers, Cmdrjameson 14:22, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Borf Sources

There are plenty of non-blog sources on 'the guy;' we just need sources as good for 'the brigade.' My issue is that we currently have a rather well sourced article with a small, poorly-sourced digression. I don't think it's a good idea to move the whole article to a location that shifts its focus to the poorly sourced content at the expense of the well sourced material. -- Vary | Talk 19:49, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
