Austin Winkler (born October 25, 1981) is the lead vocalist for the Oklahoma City based rock band Hinder. Before starting Hinder Austin played in a cover band.He wrote his own songs and the band refused to play them. He then formed Hinder with Cody Hanson.^[1] He wrote the band's song "Lips of an Angel", which peaked at #3 on Billboard Hot 100. Austin is currently engaged to actress/model Jami Miller. On Friday december 21st 2007 Winkler was arrested in Jonesboro, Arkansas on suspicion of DUI [1]
