[edit] Destruction of Niniveh

In the Region (Iraq, Iran and Kurdistan) the destruction of Niniveh is traditionally celebrated at the beginning of spring (Newroz holiday), which is March, 21st. Is there any source pointing to August the 10th? Erdal Ronahi 07:16, 8 Jul 2004 (UTC)

[edit] UK record temperature

Why is the UK record temperature being reverted from the official figure used by the Met Office and the UK goverment statistics office to one listed on someone's homepage? I've changed it back, and unless I see a clear explanation of why the Met Office have got it wrong, I'll restore the Met Office version every time. Average Earthman 10:42, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
