Augustin Kennady (b. 1985) is an American film director and producer.

Born in New York City in 1985, Kennady has since taken up residence across various parts of the East Coast, growing up predominantly in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania. Upon his graduation from high school in 2003, he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to pursue a film career.

Meeting with early success as an actor and a model, Kennady turned to film directing. After the festival success of his film Full Count, he joined up with childhood friends to create Aura Pictures Limited.

In 2007, he directed "The Lottery", an unauthorized adaptation of the Shirley Jackson short story by the same name. Due to copyright issues, the film is unavailable to the public. The film premiered at the 2007 Philadelphia International Film Festival. However, a four minute adaptation of the short was created in copyright-compliance by eliminating dialogue and certain thematic elements. That version, entitled "The Selection", was screened at the Staten Island Film Festival in June 2007.

By whichever name, the total number of Official Selections for the project originally titled "The Lottery" was five: Philadelphia, Staten Island, Charlotte, Eerie Horror, and Delaware Valley.

He and his Aura Pictures Ltd. colleagues have a slate of films in various stages of production, including: Sakura, a Japanese-themed detective comedy -- Chillin' on the Mack, a loosely-based riff on "Waiting for Godot" -- A+, a college-aged drama -- and more.

Most recently, he teamed up with Full Count collaborator Kevin Allesee to film "A+", the story of a young man unable to pay tuition who is lured into the lucrative world of fraudulent term papers.
