[edit] Huh?

"Athabasca is famous for a farmer who, about 100 years ago, trained two moose to pull plows like farm animals. People came from far around to see these plowing moose. Unfortunately, someone fed one of the moose a frozen potato and it died. The other moose died of loneliness shortly thereafter." This sounds utterly fake to me... But I'm not completely sure. A google search returns only this page and unrelated stuff so I'll remove it and if it's true I'm sorry Furius (talk) 10:32, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

This one is true, as the local historical society has a whole display about it set up on main street. Some day, I'll put that back up, and cite the display as my source. Mark (talk) 15:35, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
