Assender Glacier

Assender Glacier (67°36′S 46°25′ECoordinates: 67°36′S 46°25′E) is a glacier flowing west into Spooner Bay in Enderby Land. Plotted from air photos taken from ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions) aircraft in 1956. Named by Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) for Pilot Officer K. Assender, RAAF, pilot at Mawson station in 1959.
