As put forth by Karunashram,PFA:

Enough cannot be said about this seven year old. At a tender age of seven, her awareness of various social issues and willingness to learn and do things is laudable. Besides learning Bharatnatyam, she is also learning to play the violin. Besides visiting the old aged homes in her area, her vocal rendition of the Nutcracker’s Suite has helped raise funds for the disabled. She has also won the Best Citizen’s Award. She is an avid reader and has published a short story titled ‘Making New Friends’. She is soon to release a CD on Karnatic vocal music. Ashraya Ananthanarayanan sets an example for others to follow.
