[edit] Alumni

I have removed the following alumni from the main article as they do not have citations and many are poorly written. If you have an appropriate reference for any of the people listed "a) to verify that they did indeed attend the school and b) to verify the statement of their notability in their short one or two line description", then please feel free to add the person (with reference) to the main article. For more info on adding notable alumni to school articles see WP:SCH#Alumni.

While I appreciate the efforts at referencing alumni, im finding it difficult to believe that all those with 'Ascham remembered' citations may actually be found in the book. The book was written in 1986, and yet Poppy Montgomery who would only have been 14 at the time of publication is cited as being listed as notable alumni. When I can find my copy of the book I will check it myself. Loopla 14:16, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Danziger resignation row

Rowena Danziger

In 2005, a row erupted over the resignation of then headmistress Susan Preedy, who had succeeded Rowena Danziger on her retirement. After Preedy resigned, Danziger stepped back into her old role - only to be met with a row that included parents threatening to sue should she not resign immediately. After several weeks of controversy, chronicled in the local press, Danziger resigned shortly before a meeting of parents was due to censure the Board of Governors for its handling of the matter.

This was a massive news story at the time and should be in here, even if the page is being edited by old girls and staff members, as it seems to be.
