The "Rouge River" link goes to the wrong river... .
. Although the Arundel township was primarily settled by migrants from the United Kingdom, by 1900 many french speaking families were firmly established, even a general store close to the Rouge river. For further details, look up the 1901 census: http://automatedgenealogy.com/census/index.html .
