Neil Hubbard is a bagpiper who lives in Kirkland, Washington, USA. He is a member of the Keith Highlanders Pipe Band and is the Resident Piper at the Golf Club at Newcastle. Since its inception in 1998, Neil has produced and directed the Masters of Scottish Arts Concert at Seattle's Benaroya Hall. The concert is distinctive because it is the most well-attended concert of its kind anywhere in the world. Piper and Drummer Magazine (pipesdrums.com) said the concert set “a record for the piping world for attendance at a show that doesn’t feature a pipe band." Two CDs of the concert, produced by Neil and Seattle piper Jori Chisholm, have been released: Masters of Scottish Arts Live in Concert, Volume 1 (2003) and Live At Benaroya Hall (2005). Amazon.com says the concert features “the world’s best champion, prize-winning pipers and drummers, and is the most well attended concert of its kind anywhere in the world.”

In the early 1980's Neil founded Engram Records and released the seminal EP by Blackouts, “Men in Motion” (“the five-song EP Men in Motion for Neil Hubbard’s Engram Records, dropped the band’s last pop-song elements in favor of what was known in New York as “no wave”—“Loser” pg 56) and two Seattle Syndrome compilations. According to Clark Humphry's book "Loser", (pg 71) a history of the Seattle music scene, The Seattle Syndrome Volume One was the first definitive document of the Seattle new-music scene. It came out on the Engram label at the end of 1981, produced by Neil Hubbard and Homer Spence, bankrolled by Spence’s pal Danny Eskenazi, and recorded mostly by Jack Waver at Triangle Studios in late 1980 and early 1981. The “Syndrome” of the title, according to Hubbard, was that a Seattle band could produce stunning renditions of highly original tunes, to little or no support. You could do anything here good or bad and nobody would care.” Other records released by Engram include two EPs by Seattle band Three Swimmers.

The Fleishmans are very wealthy and live on Marthas Vineyard. I beleive they are the founders of "Fleishmans." Fleishmans sells fine couture clothing, shoes, and accessories for elder WASPS such as Carol DePonte. They also carry girl scout uniforms along with Birkenstocks for Troop 117. They carry "Try It" Badges and are long time patrons of the Girl Scout Cookie Sales.

Cal Perry serves as CNNs Baghdad Bureau Chief in Iraq and is an International Correspondent for CNN. He has held the Baghdad Bureau Chief position since 2006, but has been with the network for five years. He also reports for the network from a variety of cities around the world. Seeming to concentrate on the Middle East, he was involved in Exclusive material such as an interview with the exiled leader of Hamas in Syria, the War in Lebanon and the release of BBC reporter Alan Johnston. Also known for work in Iraq on various embeds, but perhaps best known for the documentary he created entitled "Combat Hospital," which provided viewers an inside look into one of the US military's busiest combat hospitals in Iraq.

Cal Perry was in the 10th CSH in Baghdad when Kimberly Dozier arrived badly wounded. While filming a documentary for CNN he then, wrote an article about it that day.

Cal Perry was involved in CNNs receiving the Edward R. Murrow award for excellence in Journalism for their coverage of the summer war in Lebanon.

Cal Perry is also a well-known still photographer for the network throughout his work in Iraq and Lebanon.

The Slammin' Salmon is an upcoming comedy film by comedy troupe Broken Lizard. It has been described as a film in which a former heavyweight champ (Michael Clarke Duncan) opens a seafood restaurant. The champ soon finds himself in debt with the Yakuza and decides to pit his five employees (Kevin Heffernan, Jay Chandrasekhar, Steve Lemme, Eric Stolhanske, and Paul Soter) against each other in a Glengarry Glen-Ross-type competition. The winner gets 10,000 dollars, the loser not only loses his job, but has to face his boss in the ring.

The cast so far includes: Kevin Heffernan, Eric Stolhanske, Jay Chadrasekhar, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Michael Clarke Duncan, Pill Paxton, Will Forte.

This marks the first time Kevin Heffernan has directed a film for the Lizards.

Filming began January 7th, 2008.

King Kong Vs. Jaws Is a 2009 Action/Adventure film which pits the gorilla King Kong against the great white shark Jaws. Universal Pictures will handle distribution on the film, with the release date planned for July 16, 2009.

Plot

When an intrepid explorer (Tom Cruise) discovers a hidden ruby on the abandoned Skull island, He has unleashed an unhuman horror unto the world, as the ruby brings both King Kong (Andy Serkis) and Jaws (Flea) back to life, both wanting the ruby for their own immunity. It's up to the exploere to team up with a soldier (Christian Bale) and the film director Carl Denham (Jack Black) to stop the creatures along with the advice of an old, wise fisherman (Clint Eastwood), as King Kong searchs for Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) and as Jaws searchs for Cheif Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) while both creatures also search to kill the U.S.A. president (Jon Voight) as the world is at stake.

Production Pre-Production will begin in December 2007 with filming rumored to start in late May 2008. It is also rumored that a section of the film will be shot in Hawii.
