This article needs a complete rewrite. I'll do it if I ever get time to do all the research. It currently gives the impression that artificial chemistries are a very specific, well-defined type of model, whereas it's actually a rather broad area of research that uses many different types of model which don't necessarily have much in common other than being inspired by chemistry in some way. 80.47.160.101 13:56, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
