Arkadion

Arkadion (Αρκαδίων) is a municipality on the island of Zakynthos, Greece. It is located on the central northeast coast of the island. It has a land area of 26.475 km², the smallest of any municipality on the island. Its population was 4,830 at the 2001 census. The seat of the municipality is in Vanato (pop. 820). Its largest town is Plános (823). Other large towns are Ágios Kírykos (725), Tragáki (621), Kalipádon (607), and Sarakinádon (538).
