The area code +1 (264) is the telephone area code of Anguilla. The (264) area code, or "(ANG)" was created during a split from the original (809) area code which was done on or around the date March, 1997. The 264 area code is part of the North American Numbering Plan (NANP).
When in Anguilla, use the seven digits alone. When calling to Anguilla from anywhere in the United States or Canada simply dial 1(264) + seven digit phone number.
