Al Hayr is the name of a settlement in Ras al-Khaimah. It is about 25 km to the north of Ras al-Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates. It is a major historical town, which was the scene of many battles against the British. Ar-rams has around 2500 residents, most of whom are from the al Tunaiji tribe.
