The film stars the then Shakti Samanta stalwart Rajesh Khanna (having earlier made Aradhana and Kati Patang with him). The rest of the cast includes Nutan, Vinod Mehra, Moushmi Chatterjee, Ashok Kumar, David, Asit Sen and Madan Puri. The music is by S. D. Burman. The film became a "semi-hit" at the box office.[1]
