Anthony Adams (politician)

Anthony Adams (born 1971) was elected to the California State Assembly in November 2006 to succeed Dennis Mountjoy. Adams represents the 59th district. He is a Republican.
Adams was the director of legislative affairs for San Bernardino County prior to his election to the State Assembly. Prior to this, Adams served as Executive Analyst to Supervisor Bill Postmus.
Adams began his career in the political world in 1996, working to elect pro-business, anti-tax candidates to a variety of city, school and water board positions. Assemblyman Adams also served as a member of the Hesperia Public Safety Commission. Adams also hosted a local weekly radio broadcast on AM Talk 960.
Adams received his Bachelors degree in Political Science from California State University, San Bernardino, and has a law degree at Western State University College of Law in Fullerton. He and his wife of Sixteen years, Deanna, reside in Hesperia.
