Anne de Chantraine

Anne de Chantraine (1605 - October 17, 1622) was one of the many people to be accused and burned as a witch in the Great Witch Hunts of the seventeenth century.[1] At the age of seventeen, she was burned in Waret-la-Chaussee, Liège, or France.[2] Multiple French language works have covered her life and have been reviewed in such notable sources as TIME magazine.[3]

Anne de Chantraine is a playable character in Nightmare/Atmosfear,[4][5] a series of interactive board games. She is a witch in the series, and has thusfar appeared in all but two games.[6] She hosted the third installment of the series.[7]
