Angus Wright was a British television producer. He and his then-wife Britt Allcroft created The Britt Allcroft Company in 1984. The company changed its name to Gullane Entertainment in 2000, and was later sold to HIT Entertainment in 2002. Angus and Britt are divorced.
Angus served as producer on various projects by the company, most notably the children's television series Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends (since seasons 3, 4 and 5) and its US counterpart Shining Time Station.
He was also an executive producer on The Adventures of Captain Pugwash in 1998 but Britt Allcroft isn't involved.[1]
