Andrés San Martín (born April 12, 1978. Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine footballer currently playing for Arsenal de Sarandí in the Primera División Argentina.
[edit] Club career
San Martín began his career in 1997 at Argentine second division club Banfield. He was transferred to Primera division club Unión de Santa Fe in 1999. Meanwhile his former club had won promotion to the Primera, and in 2002 San Martín rejoined Banfield.
In 2005 he left Banfield to play for River Plate at the Estadio Monumental.
After one season with River he was loaned out to Spanish La Liga club CD Tenerife, with an option for them to buy him. At the end of the loan period Tenerife decided against signing him on a permanent basis. This prompted his return to Argentina to join Arsenal.
