This is the main hill on which the old city was built. Its highest altitude is around 80 meters above the olive plain. The leading building at the crest of the agglomeration correspond to the first surgical-health-care-center in the whole expanse of north Lebanon and the Syrian coast, which started its activity in 1946. preserving its L-shape it was as “Erected to stay forever”.
