Nassim Halim Abi Chahine M.D. born on 12 May 1977 in Amioun, Lebanon, grandson of the Lebanese surgeon Halim Abi Chahine. A physician, qualified from the Medical Academy of Lodz, Poland. Resident of neurosurgery at Saint George Hospital, Beirut.

European boarded medical doctor, at the Medical Academy of Lodz (Academia Medica Lodzensis) and the Medical University of Łódź, Lodz, Poland since May 24-th 2002. Chief resident in neurosurgery at Saint George Hospital (SGH) and University of Balamand (UOB), Lebanon. Student of Professor Antoine Nachanakian from the school of Professor Bernard Pertuiset, France. A neurosurgery trainee at the Lebanese Military Hospital. Bio-technical proficient.
Co-Author of many international publications, including:
1- Unstable thoraco-lumbar fractures, clinical study and congress communication.
2- Spinal extradural arachnoid cysts, clinical study.
3- A rare etiology of myelopathy: Spinal dural arteriovenous fistula, clinical study.
4- Dandy-walker syndrome, clinical study.
5- Kyphoplasty, state-of-the-art, original article (under publication).
6- First global case of brain abscess caused by Kluyvera, case report.
