Not everyone who is against the Iraq War is a pacifist, an advocate of nonviolence, a conscientious objector, or against warfare in all circumstances: i.e. a anti-war activist.
Persons listed in this category are against the War in Iraq, though they are not necessarily "anti-war".
In addition to the criteria outlined above are all Americans residing in America who have said publicly that either they:
- A) Believe that the Iraq War was illegal from the beginning; or
- B) Believe that the Iraq War is being waged imprudently and have become publicly known as critics of the war or the justifications used to launch it.
American anti-war activists are not to be mixed up with critics of Iraq policy; that is, people who have made statements against the war, but are known primarily for other things.
