Amaechi Igwe (born May 20, 1988, in Belmont, California) is an American soccer player, who currently plays for the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer.

Igwe was drafted in the 1st round, 12th overall in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft by the New England Revolution, out of Santa Clara University. At Santa Clara, Igwe played forward and scored five goals and had three assists to finish third on the team in scoring.
Igwe has represented the United States at the youth international level, and was named to the US squad for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
During the 2007 season, Igwe appeared regularly for the Revolution reserves squad, but did not see any time for the first team.
He made his MLS debut on April 9, 2008 against the Kansas City Wizards.
