Allansford is a town in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. It is in the City of Warrnambool local government area. The Post Office opened on January 1, 1860 [2]
The railway though the town was opened in 1890,[3] and the town was once served by a local railway station. At the 2001 census, Allansford had a population of 531.[1]
A Business Park for Warrnambool is planned for the area.[4]
