[edit] Wedgwood Rock image

You added Image:Wedgwoodrock.jpg (thanks, nice photo) but didn't indicate anything about its copyright status and under what rights we are using it. If it is your own photo and you are putting it in the public domain, Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags#Public_domain_dedications here is how to indicate that. Otherwise, you may want to look around Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for an appropriate option, or contact me for help. Without this, though, it will simply be deleted; we can't accept images whose rights are unclear. -- Jmabel | Talk 19:37, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

It is about to be deleted if you cannot explain what is going on. -- Jmabel | Talk 06:12, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Ravenna creek.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Ravenna creek.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Longhair 10:54, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Lucas Smith, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Hut 8.5 21:07, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikiproject streetcar

I just left this on your IP's talk page, but noticed later that you have a username as well.

I've gone ahead and reverted your removal of Link Light Rail from WikiProject Streetcars.[1] While it is true that Link Light Rail is not a streetcar, according to the project's scope, light rail is included in their purview. One of the frustrating parts of Wikipedia is that the projects get to designate what articles are within their scope and they frequently don't match their names. That being said, thanks for the edit you made to the main article.[2] Happy editing. --Bobblehead (rants) 16:10, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] RE: Mount Baker Station Article contradiction?

The article starts out "Mount Baker Station will be ..." (future tense) and then the second section states "The Mount Baker Station is ..." (present tense). It's confusing on whether or not this is a future project or an existing structure. Please clarify the article. Daltxn (talk) 01:27, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] SODO Station (Link station)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of SODO Station (Link station), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.soundtransit.org/x1493.xml?ss=print. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:10, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
