[edit] HTF episodes

Okay, I'll let you know. I've added some cultural references and production notes to some past articles to make them more in line with that they're looking for. It'll be easier to do when I buy the DVDs so I can look at storyboards and hear commentary for additional production notes to include. I'll try getting around to writing an article later today, but for now I gotta go do some stuff for a summer class I'm taking. Just look for a new article sometime this evening or tomorrow afternoon. This is usually dealt with more quickly at WP:AIV. However, he hasn't vandalised since the last warning. Since he's now had a last warning, AIV will sort him out if he comes back. Thanks. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 22:07, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

I have reported the persisting vandalism - as requested, Alex - for blocking as a temporary measure. docboat (talk) 08:14, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi again Alex. That user has now been blocked for 12 hours, and I am sure s/he will continue after the block expires. so we shall carry on warning to the point of a block. I am, however, an editor without admin privileges. At least, for the time being. So I am unable to block such vandals myself. Perhaps later :) All the best. docboat (talk) 11:50, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
  • And FYI he began vandalising again, was reported to WP:AIV and has been given a one month block. Happy editing! docboat (talk) 03:54, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Poutine123.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Poutine123.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:50, 19 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? MECUtalk 01:50, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for your help!

Hi Alex8194! I'm leaving you a message because I'm thanking you for keeping the Happy Tree Friends articles up to date. Your a lot of help.I've been fixing everything all by myself for a while. Its a good thing I managed to get the characters article semi-lockeded. To avoid random IP vandalism. Sadly, I don't know what the creator of the page is doing...

Anyway, please keep posting every last bit of new infomation. The more the better!

ThankyouTedmund (talk) 18:54, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Toad abc.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Toad abc.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:15, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you!

Hi Alex,

I wanted to thank you for uploading pictures onto some of the Happy Tree Friends articles I wrote. I would have done it, but I'm kinda new to editing Wikipedia, and I wasn't sure of what the porper procedure or protocol was for uploading photos. Thanks again! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gala0008 (talkcontribs) 00:42, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hello!

Hi man, just wanted to say good work on your edits on the Happy Tree Friends articles, they've made some interesting reads and its nice to see people making good edits to them :) Cheers! 12.105.35.1 (talk) 00:54, 2 May 2008 (UTC) Haha, that was me, sorry :P Forgot to log in. [edit] A quick HTF message

Hey Alex, I just wanted to let you know I won't be writing any HTF articles for a bit. I've gotten a message from some admin (at least I assume he's an admin) named Bill who told me that my articles aren't written according to Wikipedia Stand Alone Guidelines (or something like that). Though no other admins have seemed to have any issue with my writing, I'm going to play it safe and see what Bill suggests before I create any more pages. Just thought you should know, since you always upload photos for me. Sorry bout all this! (Gala0008 (talk) 21:05, 8 May 2008 (UTC))

[edit] RE: List of HTF episodes

Sure it sounds like a good idea. I think a new layout simular to the simpsons list will look better too.

Unless you've already developed a new layout for the seasons list then go ahead and put it. I won't stop you. And no one else should either.

But if you haven't then I'll be sure to help. I'm not to fond of making tables in wiki. But as a web designer its good to try :). I'll just design a bit in the sandbox (after your next message). Tedmund (talk) 23:41, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] RE: HTF episodes

I'd be glad to do it. The only reason I stopped writing articles in the first place was because I was afraid that more of my articles would be deleted if I continued writing the way I was. I might not be able to start writing until tomorrow or the next day, but I'll get on it as soon as I can. Just to be sure, though, these won't run the risk of deletion like the currently deleted articles, right? I remember the main complaint for Class Act was a lack of notability due to a lack of reviews. Thanks! (Gala0008 (talk) 05:34, 10 June 2008 (UTC))

Okay, I'll let him know. But just so you know, I'm going on vacation on the 23rd and I won't be back until the 3rd of July, so sadly there will be a lull in articles for a while. But I'll go let Pyro_Python what's up. (Gala0008 (talk) 00:09, 11 June 2008 (UTC))

[edit] Creating tables

I'm gettting the tables in order. Its almost identical to the Simpsons one. The only problem is that I might have to make a seprate DVD area table because they weren't realeased in any specific order *From the internet series seasons*. As for the TV serise I don't have any problems yet.

I just figured asking you since your the second to discuss this new idea. Just tell me how you want it.

(P.S: I'm at my office so when I get home I will finish what I can) Tedmund (talk) 17:20, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Take a look

I wish I could do more but after I got home from school I took a nap T_T. And right now I have to head into my office work station. I won't be back until about 10pm. So I'm giving you this for a glimps, Click here

as of now this is how far I've managed to complete in about an hour or two.If you want to edit anything go ahead :)! After that I'll know where to continue (Incase you do edit anything).

P.S: I suggest you copy everything and save it in a document file also *all of the codes and texts*. Because all I've been doing in the sandbox is previewing edits. Tedmund (talk) 21:03, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] RE:HTF episode lists

The season lists are a good start. It will be good if you could add writer and director details for each episode. If the writer/director is the same for every episode then you can add it at the start of each season article. I expect this information will be on the official website. I'm busy away from Wikipedia at the moment and can only manage a few edits every few days so I won't be able to respond much very often. If you need it, there are some editors on This guideline talk page who can offer advice on how to improve a season page to a good state. Bill (talk|contribs) 21:21, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Cuddles.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Cuddles.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:14, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
