The Alex Giualini Plaza is a vacant building in Hayward, California. It was Hayward's First City Hall. It is located on Mission Blvd. at D Street.

The City Hall opened in 1930. It served as Hayward City Hall between 1930-1969.When the Hayward City Center opened in October 1969 the city moved there. Today The Hayward City Hall is located at 777 B Street (just 3 blocks away from Giualini Plaza)[citation needed]
[edit] Renaming
In 1999 the City Of Hayward renamed the building and its surroundings to Alex Giualini Plaza after one Of Hayward's Best Mayors. In 2005 a playground was added.[citation needed]
