Alex Acker (born January 21, 1983 in Compton, California) is an American professional basketball player.
Acker attended Pepperdine University and was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the last pick in the second round (60th overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft. He was assigned to the NBA Development League's Fayetteville Patriots on February 27, 2006.
Acker played the 2006-07 season in Greece with Olympiacos and started the season well, but his ability declined as the season progressed. He was released from the team in July 2007 (replaced by Qyntel Woods). In August 2007, he signed for Spanish ACB team AXA FC Barcelona, but his transfer was cancelled due to a knee injury. But after negotiating a new agreement, he signed with AXA FC Barcelona again.
