Hello I'm Alan, I've been editing Wikipedia since August 22nd 2006. I was born and raised in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Got married to Katy in 2004 and we've been lucky enough to have a lovely daughter - Megan - in 2005.

I've been straightening paperclips at the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council since 2001.
