Talk:Al Manara (tower)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Disambig
Is this/will this building be known as "Al Manara" or "Al Manara Tower" or something similar to that? I think this page should probably be moved to "Al Manara (tower)" (or to a similar page that differenciates it from Manara). There is already an Al Manara locality in Dubai so there needs to be some clarity in the way this artile has been named. Unfortunately, I don't keep myself updated on construction activities in the city, so I'd appreciate some insight from editors that are following that part of the city's growth. Thanks! - Well, I should first say that we now have three different articles with "Al Manara" in the title that all relate to Dubai. This article is one, Al Manara Tower is another, and Al Manara, Dubai is the third. This building is just known as "Al Manara." I aggree to the renaming of this article to "Al Manara (tower)." I should add that per WikiProject Skyscrapers, most building titles should be "NAME (CITY)" and not "NAME (tower)" for disambiguation purposes. But, since there is more than one "Manara," I think we can make an exception. I will rename this article right now. Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 20:15, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
