Al-Mutawakkil I

Al-Mutawakkil I of Cairo was an Abbasid Caliph of Cairo, Egypt for the Mamluk Sultans between 1362 and 1383.
It should be noted that the global Muslim population had climbed to about 8 per cent as against the Christian population of 14 per cent by 1400.
