Michael Barrett slugs A.J. Pierzynski during the Cubs-Sox Crosstown classic in 2006. The attack prompted both benches to clear out. Barrett received a 10 game suspension, while Pierzynski received a fine. The incident would be well remembered among both Cubs and Sox fans, and only fuel the rivalry between the two. The image belongs to its original copyright holder; it is claimed under fair use, for reasons stated below this section.
