Ajim (Arabic:أجيم) is a port city located on the Island of Djerba off the west coast of Tunisia. It is Djerba's main fishing port and the closest city to the African continent. It has a population of around 20,000 people as of 2008. The city and surrounding areas were used as a filming location for the Star Wars films. Tourists can visit Obi-Wan Kenobi’s house, the Mos Eisley Cantina and other buildings featured in the series.
