Aird, Western Isles

Aird (Gaelic: Aird An Rubha) is a village in the Scottish council area of Eilean Siar (Western Isles). It is located on the Eye Peninsula in the east coast of the Isle of Lewis. It is home to a shop/post office, and one of Scotland's oldest schools, Aird Primary School[citation needed].
