[edit] Good article candidate 2007-07-17
I am placing this article on hold, due to the "quality" issues that are holding this article back from GA status. Here is a list of problems that need to be fixed before this article can pass.
- Images need to better placed for aesthetical reasons. In fact there are too many for an article of this size. Consider including a link to the Wikimedia Commons.
- Image captions are sloppy in some cases.
- Numerous unsourced statements, and where the information is referenced, it does not follow the citation guidelines (author name, title, publisher, accessdate, etc)
- There are way too many poorly structured one sentence paragraphs. You need to either merge these with other sentences or elaborate on them.
- Why include red links in the "See also" section?
- The infobox does not really comply with the WikiProject Automobiles standards, and the generational box should probably be used in the "Storm II", and "Storm III" sections. --OSX (talk • contributions) 08:28, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- The article has improved significantly, but a second review has led me to spot more issues.
-
- All metric units need to have conversions to imperial units in parentheses.
- The lead does not seam to adequately summarise the subject, try adding another paragraph or two.
- Infobox still not resolved. "Chrysler 3.983 litre 6-cylinder in-line petrol with fuel injection developing 180 hp at 4,700 rpm, fitted with Vortox 2-stage air cleaner or VW 2.5 litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel developing 118 hp at 4,200 rpm" is not right. it should be: 4.0 L Chrysler 6-cylinder<br />2.5 L VW turbocharged diesel 4-cylinder. You should even find out the exact engine model and link it to that, and include the rest of the information in the prose. OSX (talk • contributions) 05:22, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

- Sorry that I hadn't gotten around to replying earlier. I hope that I've corrected the language, referencing, and lead issues, and I've just corrected the infoboxes' formatting and measurement unit conversion. While Flymeoutofhere took care of them, I wanted the WP:REDLINKs per that philosophy of expansion infrastructure - does the MoS disagree? I am also uneasy about leaving out the sole image - perhaps you can think of another image arrangement? As for the engines, the ones that exist on WP are wikilinked. Do let me know what you think. - Good work, but I feel that the article is missing some valuable citations. These instances have been marked with {{fact}} tags so you no exactly what needs to be done. Besides that I think the article is up to standard, so if you renominate it, I will most likely pass it. Cheers OSX (talk • contributions) 06:00, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Good article candidate 2007-10-26
I am not going to re-review this article because my only objections in my last review were the missing references. Additionally, the article has hardly changed much content-wise since my last review either (see archive). So as this article meets all the criteria, I hereby promote it to good article status. A bot has added class=GA to the WikiProject banners on this page, as it's listed as a good article. If you see a mistake, please revert, and leave a note on the bot's talk page. Thanks, BOT Giggabot (talk) 04:33, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
