Are there medications that reduce circulating AGEs ? (For example, mimicking RAGE (AGE receptors) to competitively inhibit circulating AGE ?)

Somebody expressed confusion over the distinction between glycosylation and glycation. I don't know why that needs to be in the article, but it certainly doesn't deserve to be included in the opening paragraph. Unfree (talk) 16:29, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
