Adam Rhodes was a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by English actor Benjamin Hart. The character made his on-screen debut on June 14, 2007, and left on November 29, 2007.

Adam is a construction worker who rescued Pepper Steiger (played by Nicky Whelan) from the unwanted advances of Karl Kennedy's (Alan Fletcher) new boss, Davo (Stephen Jenkins). Adam then began to flirt with Pepper at every opportunity, much to her annoyance. However, she eventually admitted that she was attracted to him and accepted when he asked her out on a date.

When Pepper's father, Allan Steiger (Joe Clements), found out about Pepper's involvement with Adam, he soon became suspicious that his daughter's boyfriend may be "bad news", and soon Pepper began to grow wary as well. On July 5th, 2007, Adam confessed to Pepper that he was a police officer in England, and he was consumed with guilt because his negligence had resulted in his partner being shot dead during a recent investigation. Adam left town, feeling that Pepper would be better off without him. He later came to his senses when he realised that he was running away from his problems and also how much he loved Pepper, he showed up at the Timmins farewell BBQ and told Pepper he wanted to stay and figure his life out. They wanted to get married so Adam could get a visa. However Christine Rodd, Pepper's mother, convinced them it was a bad idea to get married so early on, so the pair tried to think of another way to get Adam a visa.

Adam decided in order to get a visa he would rejoin the police force. He had to undergo a psych evaluation to return to the force. Once he was reinstated as a Constable, his new partner was Senior Constable Sophie Cooper.

When Pepper was diagnosed with cervical dysplasia, Adam stuck by her, and she got through it, having regular checks that the cancer hadn't spread.

Adam moved to Queensland with Pepper on 1st November 2007, but returned briefly to sort out a job transfer. He departed Erinsborough on November 29, after telling Frazer Yeats (Ben Lawson) and Rosetta Cammeniti (Natalie Saleeba) that he would be asking Pepper to marry him.
