Acrise is an ecclesiastical and civil parish in Shepway District, Kent, England, about six miles north of Folkestone. The parish takes its name from the presence of the mainly 18th century Acrise Place, the manor house, in the grounds of which stands the medieval church of St Martin [1].
The civil parish meets at a Parish Meeting. There are few houses in the settlement, one of which used to belong to Sian Williams' grandfather.
