anyone knows how can I use the same account in different languages? I had to register in another language the same account... i see that it's odd.

I need to use one image that is already on wikipedia in another article how can I do that cleanly? Abountu 00:58, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

another question, how to I propose merging two articles?

Unfortunately, the current MediaWiki system does not support universal accounts. However this support is in the works, meaning that they are working on making an account on Wikipedia able to work on any language's Wikipedia.
As to how to use images in articles, find the file name, then type [[Image:filename.jpg]]], where filename is the name of the image file on Wikipedia.
As far as proposing the merger of two articles, Wikipedia:Merging and moving pages contains all the information you need to know. --Willy No1lakersfan (Talk - Contribs) 01:22, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How can I create a redirection ?

I was wondering how can I create a redirection, so when people search for a word (aaa) they'll fall on an article that is named (bbb)

Create an article, and put #redirect [[article name here]] in the edit box. Alternatively, you can use the button on the toolbar that has #R on it, and replace the text with the article name. J Ditalk 21:37, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

That's the way. Thanks for the note and whatever you do, always feel free to ask me for help. - Lucky 6.9 22:26, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Where are you from

Hi! Which country are you from? If you're a Lebanese, since your Arabic is good, I would like you to visit this website (since we're looking for Lebanese - and even non-Lebanese - to help Lebanon-related articles):

  • lebanon <- we are critically low in membership

Also consider going to the English version by clicking here

Thanks. - Qasamaan 21:24, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

P.S. If you're Lebanese, add {{User_Lebanese}} on your user page.

Hello. Not much. I was just looking for Wikipedians who could help in improving articles relating to Lebanon; in English and, most especially, Arabic. Let me know if you need anything. - Qasamaan 08:45, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Greek to me

Greetings. I just wrote the page Greek to me. I am comparing similar expressions in other languages. I was wondering if you would be able to add the expression in any languages with which you are comfortable. Btw, I just found your page/profile by running a search for users who have a level 4/level 5 ability in non-English languages. Thanks much! samwaltz 04:46, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Sorry about writing on your user page (it was at the time when I didn't know a lot about wikipedia). Maybe you should delete it from there (your page will look nicer ;).Fadib83 20:20, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Toula - Thank You

Hello, Yes I'm your neighbour from Kfarsghab. I'm trying to create at least the stubs of all the villages, monasteries and others for Zawiyeh and (some for Bsharri and Dinniyeh) and when I have time, I add other information (history, population, etymology of the name, ...). I also translate to Arabic, French, German some of the pages. Toula was practically the first page I found on Wikipedia (along with Arbet Qozhaya) on Zawiyeh villages. I should admit that you inspired me. I'll add in the coming weeks some historical facts on Toula. Thank you youcroft 17:14, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
