"Above the Clouds" is the second and final single from Cyndi Lauper's album, The Body Acoustic.
The song features guitarist Jeff Beck. The soft ballad is dedicated to Lauper's son, Declyn. The song is about empowerment and feeling strong. The single did well on adult contemporary radio where it still gets a considerable amount of plays.
The song was released as a promo-only single and a music video was directed by Lauper herself.
