Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

I appreciate the information, but you seem to be making edits similar to the last IP user to edit the moneybomb article. Stick around and read some of the Wikipedia policies like WP:V so you can find out what type of edits are accepted as neutral point of view. Thank you! John J. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Moneybomb, you will be blocked from editing. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 23:14, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked for a period of 2 days from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 23:30, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "cause i'm trying to use wiki and i guess if you correct a lie that the admin wants to continue for some strange reason, you get banned? no wonder wiki is banned at universities"

Decline reason: "You were blocked for making edits like this. — IrishGuy talk 00:41, 9 March 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Hello anonymous friend. Taking your desire to improve Wikipedia and correct an error ("lie") in good faith, let me explain. Of course we have a problem here that lots of malevolent folks come on anonymously claiming to correct lies, but what they actually do is insert their own points of view and create imbalance; the warning and blocking procedures were created by the group's consensus to deal with this. Since you state you wish to correct things, the proper procedure is (1) don't worry about the block, it happens to everybody, and (2) continue the discussion on this talk page, which you are still allowed to edit. (Or, better yet, create an identity and mention on this page what your identity is.)

To get that discussion going, for instance, I'll observe that you said Lyman "did not sign up a webpage"; but of course if you look at the Whois record at this link you can see that he signed up a webpage on October 16. On the other hand, you also make correct statements like Lyman "did not coin the phrase 'moneybomb'", but this is already addressed properly in the article by the evidence that Jesse Elder coined the usage of this phrase. What you want to do is to propose changes to the article that would be verifiable, neutral, nontrivial, and reliably proven. None of your proposed changes have met those tests yet. What might be worth doing is looking for a reliable article that mentions something interesting and then insert it with a link (like this and this, which document Lyman's propensity for Frosted Flakes, frozen bagels, and Starbucks coffee). However, even that was rejected by another editor as trivial and unencyclopedic, so you'll have to look a little harder than that. Otherwise, welcome to Wikipedia. John J.
