[edit] Edit summaries
Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to E.S. Posthumus. Thank you. Grey Maiden talk 18:05, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Signing your comments
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as in E.S. Posthumus, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Grey Maiden talk 18:05, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Hey, it's okay, really. It sounds like they were some honest (and relatively minor) mistakes. When I first joined Wikipedia, I didn't know much about editing either, but I got better as time went on.
If you want to continue editing, have you ever thought about becoming an actual member, instead of editing under an IP adress? It does come with a lot of benefits: the ability to start new pages, including your user page; the ability to edit semi-protected pages (your account must be at least four days old to do this, but these pages cannot be edited by unregistered users); the ability to rename pages; the ability to upload images; the ability to set personal preferences on your account; your IP address will no longer be visible to other users, meaning you will have greater privacy; you will always have the same talk page, since your talk page will be tied to your account and not your IP address. This prevents you from getting warnings about things you didn't do; the use of a username of your choice, provided that it is appropriate and not already used; the ability to easily review all your contributions via a "My contributions" link; the use of your own personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you. Hmm...I did ramble on a bit there, didn't I?
Say, if you have any questions, whatever they may be, I'll be happy to try and help. Just ask me. Grey Maiden talk 03:38, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
| | This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
