Welcome to Wikipedia!
- Thanks for spotting my mistake on the Hurricane Dean (2007) page and fixing it so quickly. I realised what I'd done when Honduras disappeared, but you were ahead of me! I think it's my duty here to encourage you to create an account or log in. All the best and thanks again. Wavehunter 23:15, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Israeli "Settlements" Described as "Illegal" on Linked WikiPage
You made following changes.
- (diff) (hist) . . Nuclear weapons and Israel; 19:45 . . (-29) . . 87.198.133.62 (Talk) (→Use - rm POV)
- (diff) (hist) . . Samson Option; 18:33 . . (-30) . . 87.198.133.62 (Talk) (→Doctrine - rm POV)
However the Israeli Settlements page has quite a bit of information showing that MOST of the world and major legal institutions agree that the settlements are illegal. I doubt you want to revert it based on that and I'm not going to bother, but just want to say I don't think it's all that POV. [edit] 1948 War
I don't understand you revert. I quoted Yoav Gelber who talked about invasion and kept this word in the core of the section. I also added another quote (not very favorable for Arab League) from Azzam Pasha and I added the Yishuv perception of this invasion/intervention.
But there is no other way to respect NPoV than to talk about intervention because they were asked by Palestinian Arabs to do come and their intentions, according to historians, were complexed and not based on the simple idea of invading Israel/Palestine, occupy this and chase Jews. Ceedjee (talk) 18:25, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- you talk about intervention because that was wording of AL statement. They might've called it 'walk in the desert' and then we'd to use walk-in-the-desert wording here? because you know there is nothing pov about it. I think we should call it for what it was. --87.198.133.62 (talk) 18:32, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- I kept intervention because it is complex and it was already the word I used [here even if I had used invasion in the section just above !
- You want to name things for what they were and you are right. But I fear the problem is that you don't know what were things and just revert to what you think were the things...
- Just read more about that and Yoav Gelber is rather considered pro-Israeli.

[edit] January 2008
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. [edit] March 2008
Hi, Please stop removing valuable information from Wikipedia. You have previously been warned about edit waring and you are repeated violation of the three-revert rule. Also, it would be helpful to use an edit summary for edits other than fixing vandalism. Currently your talk page consists almost entirely of reverting my edits, which may be interpreted by an admin as serial vandalism. Saying " I don't like it is not reason enough to remove valuable edits. Regardless of your personal opinions, most information, including athletics is relevant to the international community. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you need any more assistance regarding WP guidelines, please feel free to ask. I hope life is good in Dublin now that you are back from university in Cork. Cheers WikiTony (talk) 17:55, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] May 2008
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Portal:Current events/2008 May 13. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Edcolins (talk) 20:58, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Please stop removing items from Portal:Current events/2008 May 30. It doesn't matter if an item occurs in a single country or more that one country, it is still a current event. SpencerT♦C 18:23, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
- If you mean posting events to Portal:Current events/United States, then you're incorrect. That page is based from wikinews articles...single-country stories are allowed on Portal:Current Events. By the way, I don't understand why you remove the crane falls item...it mentions a fall in the US and in China...if anything, that should stay up. I'm going to add the items back in. If you would like to further comment, please leave a message on my talk page. SpencerT♦C 19:16, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
