[edit] Regarding assessments

Hi there--your point about the assessments is well-taken. The problem is that each assessment is performed by a single person, and the fact that different people assess different articles inevitably leads to some subjective assessments, despite the guidelines for deciding on an article's "importance." There is, in fact, nothing to stop you from editing any obviously inconsistent ratings you might find, and I would encourage you to do so. Might I also suggest you create an account? We're always looking for additional competent editors. Dppowell 03:15, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
