7 Angels 7 Plagues was a melodic metalcore band from Milwaukee, WI, United States. 7 Angels 7 Plagues formed in 1999 from the scraps of local Milwaukee bands Castahead and Intercede. In 2001, 7 Angels 7 Plagues released "Jhazmyne's Lullaby" along with a bold statement that this (then new and unheard of) band was going to redefine the standards of their genre. Within a year’s time, they indeed had become one of the premier bands of their genre — with rave reviews in the underground and mainstream press, interest from major labels, and a diehard fan base built from an aggressive touring schedule and impressive live performances.

Then as they were set to record new material and head out on a nationwide tour, came a sudden and very unexpected break-up in 2002. Within hours of them breaking the news, they were hit with an onslaught of emails from shocked fans (continuing to this day) wondering why a band in their prime would call it quits, and trying to track down any other music, or merchandise from them that they could get their hands on.

Similar disappointment in the break-up and continued interest in the band’s music has been widespread in the print and online media, with the band being voted (in a Lambgoat.com poll) as the band breakup to have most affected fans in 2002.

With the core song writing nucleus of the group yet to form any new bands, and with fans eager to hear any new material, the band and Uprising decided to re-release the bands first record that originally got them signed to Uprising. Now re-mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side and with new artwork by Martin Defatte in Bluenote style to match their full length record, Jhazmyne's Lullaby. A two album set was produced for collectors.

After the band broke up in 2002, members went on to play in the notable band Misery Signals, along with Adriell, xFor Death or Gloryx and Dead to Fall. They reunited in December of 2005 to play three charity shows with Branden Morgan of Misery Signals filling in on drums
