74th Academy Awards nominees and winners

The nominees for the 74th Academy Awards were announced on February 12, 2002 by Academy president Frank Pierson and actress Marcia Gay Harden, at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in the Academy's Beverly Hills headquarters. The winners were announced March 24 at a ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Multiple winners included The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (4), A Beautiful Mind (4), Moulin Rouge!, (2), and Black Hawk Down (2).
