Due to persistent vandalism (see edit log), editing by anonymous users from your school, library or institution's IP address may be currently disabled. You continue to have full access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address is probably also disabled.
If editing is required for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website. Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address, telling us your preferred username. An account will be created for you. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken.

[edit] This is a Public Computer
Blocking the IP address of this computer will only hamper future positive adjustments to wikipedia. I agree that the modifications made to wikipedia from this IP were both disgusting and rude, however, contributions have also been made. Please reconsider the blocking of this Ip. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.8.3.2 (talk • contribs)
- Reply: That it is a public computer is moot. If this IP is blocked, it will be done for a short time so as only to prevent the person making, as you put it, "disgusting and rude" edits from continuing. Once the block expires, anyone is free to edit again. Also, to your statement that [positive] contributions have been made, looking at the edits from this IP, see the contributions list, every single edit made has been, again, "disgusting and rude", with the exception of the above comments. Anyone can check this out, and to claim otherwise at this point is simply wrong. Also, looking at the block log for this IP shows it has only been blocked for 24 hours. If it IS, as the above person claims, a public computer, than the same person that made the "disgusting and rude" edits won't be back at it, and any other person is free to make positive contributions. If, instead, "disgusting and rude" edits continue, blocks will still be issued until the "disgusting and rude" cease. --Jayron32|talk|contribs 18:24, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Additionally, any blocked IP address can appeal with the {{unblock}} template, pasting {{unblock|your reason here}} into this page (replacing "your reason here" with a valid reason for unblocking). — Scientizzle 16:02, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Robert Louis Stevenson, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Robert Louis Stevenson was changed by 74.8.3.2 (c) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2008-01-02T19:00:32+00:00 . Thank you. There is no evidence that David R. Pabis is notable (not as a pro football player, comedian, or any other career that has been attributed to him). Please stop trying to add his name to articles.
